Verkada Workplace licenses bring physical front-desk workflows, parcel handling, and agile workspace reservations directly into Verkada Command. Rather than running disconnected point solutions for visitor logs, package deliveries, and office hot-desking, Workplace integrates these operations with your existing Verkada security cameras and access control infrastructure.

The license is scoped per active station. For visitor management (Verkada Guest), each deployed iPad kiosk running the check-in app requires one Workplace license. Visitors sign digital NDAs, capture photos, and print thermal adhesive badges while hosts receive instant notifications via SMS, email, or Slack. For Verkada Mailroom, each active scanning tablet requires a license to optical-character-read shipping labels and notify recipients. For Verkada Desk Booking, licenses cover floorplan reservation nodes.

Workplace licenses are available in one, three, five, and ten-year commitments. Dedicated K-12 education licenses (-K) provide specialized visitor screening against national sex offender databases at education-specific pricing. Government-tier variants (-G) support strict data residency and compliance guidelines. All licenses participate in Verkada's organization-wide co-termination, ensuring that adding reception stations mid-term automatically calculates pro-rated credit.
