The BC51 Alarm Console consolidates these functions into a single intelligent, PoE-powered device managed directly through Verkada Command.

The hardware is built around a vibrant 8-inch capacitive color touchscreen designed for intuitive interaction by staff and security guards. Personnel arm and disarm facility partitions using authorized individual PINs or digital passcodes, with an interface that clearly displays zone faults, door sensor status, and system arming states. Directly above the touchscreen, an integrated 5MP contextual security camera captures a time-stamped video snapshot and brief recording every time a user interacts with the screen, providing undeniable visual verification of who armed or disarmed the facility.

For incident management and active threat response, the BC51 integrates a high-output digital siren paired with a microphone array and built-in speaker. During an active alarm event, monitoring operators or security staff can initiate live two-way audio talk-down through the console to warn trespassers or communicate with on-site staff. Connecting over standard Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af) with Wi-Fi failover and an internal rechargeable backup battery, the console mounts cleanly into standard wall boxes.
