Verkada Wi-Fi Gateway licenses (LIC-GW) connect GW41 wireless gateway devices to Verkada Command, enabling organizations to deploy cameras, environmental sensors, and access control hardware across remote areas where trenching network cable is cost-prohibitive. Acting as high-throughput, point-to-point wireless bridges, GW41 gateways extend local area networks across parking lots, campus quads, storage yards, and detached outbuildings.

Operating a GW41 bridge deployment requires one LIC-GW license per physical gateway unit. Through Command, network administrators monitor wireless link quality, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), throughput metrics, and connected device status in real time. The gateway establishes a secure, encrypted 5 GHz wireless link that transmits high-definition video feeds and real-time access control signaling back to your primary building network with minimal latency and zero ongoing carrier recurring fees.

Wi-Fi Gateway licenses are offered in one, three, five, and ten-year options in both Capacity Increase (CAP) and Renewal (RNW) tiers.
