Official documentation

The MT81 is a cloud-managed, solar-powered security trailer for temporary or hard-to-wire locations in the United States. Two chassis configurations provide 6.6kWh or 13.2kWh of usable battery capacity. Both use a 1,600W solar array, a 24-foot telescoping mast, six device ports, and a total 480W PoE budget. Verkada Command reports GPS location, solar input, battery level, power load, and connected-device status so an operator can review trailer conditions remotely.

The trailer is infrastructure for a security design, not a complete camera package. Cameras, speakers, an internet gateway, product licenses, and some mounting accessories are sold separately. The selected device mix must stay within the six supported connections and PoE budget. Verkada publishes different uptime projections by battery, device configuration, weather zone, panel orientation, and shading; those projections are conditional, and the datasheet recommends shore power for designs projected below its stated uptime threshold.

HTS will scope the 6.6kWh or 13.2kWh model against the chosen cameras, speaker, gateway, location, solar exposure, seasonal conditions, and uptime requirement. The quote will itemize payload devices, mounts, connectivity, licenses, delivery, setup, and any shore-power plan instead of implying that they ship with the chassis. Towing, placement, stabilizers, mast operation, wind limits, and site safety also belong in the deployment review before the trailer is put into service.

How to choose

  • 6.6kWh or 13.2kWh usable battery capacity
  • Camera, speaker, and gateway mix within six ports and 480W PoE
  • Solar conditions, seasonal uptime requirement, and possible shore power
  • Separately sold devices, licenses, mounts, connectivity, delivery, and setup
