LTE-connected remote video where power or internet is limited

The CR63-E is Verkada's remote camera for locations that may not have an existing network or permanent power path. The official datasheet describes a built-in LTE modem, battery, and support for passive PoE, DC, power-tap adapters, and 65W or 100W solar panels. It combines 4K resolution with a varifocal lens and 2.25x optical zoom, 30 metres of infrared range, and 512GB through 3TB onboard storage options that map to model-specific retention variants.

The CR63-E also carries deployment constraints that must be surfaced in a quote. Verkada documents IP66/IP67 weather protection and IK10 impact protection, and notes that the cellular data plan may be supplied by Verkada or brought by the customer. Passive PoE uses the specified 48–57V path; a generic PoE assumption is not safe. HTS will confirm country and carrier requirements, data-plan ownership, solar and battery sizing, exact retention SKU, mounting, coverage objective, and whether a permanent power or network alternative is preferable. The camera's published analytics capabilities are manufacturer features, not a promise of a particular detection result in every scene.
