Digital Apple Wallet NFC passes and Bluetooth mobile credentials for user access

Verkada Mobile Credential licenses (LIC-MNFC-20) provide modern, secure digital credentials that allow employees, contractors, and tenants to unlock access-controlled doors using their smartphones and smartwatches. Instead of managing, issuing, and replacing physical plastic RFID badges that can be lost or shared, mobile credentials live securely within user mobile devices.

Each LIC-MNFC-20 SKU licenses a bundle of up to twenty active users in Verkada Command. The credential supports native Apple Wallet employee badge integration using near-field communication (NFC). Users simply tap their iPhone or Apple Watch against a compatible Verkada card reader to gain entry—even if the device's battery is depleted (Express Mode). Additionally, users can authenticate via Bluetooth through the Verkada Pass app for hands-free or touchless entry. Administrators distribute credentials instantly via email or SMS through Command, revoking access in real time when personnel depart.

Mobile credential packs are available across one, three, five, and ten-year commitments in both Capacity Increase (CAP) and Renewal (RNW) tiers. As corporate headcounts expand, administrators add 20-user packs that co-terminate with the organization's existing access control renewal date. HTS assists IT and security managers in calculating user credential requirements, verifying reader compatibility, and setting up automated mobile credential provisioning.
