Auxiliary relay automation, elevator cab floor control, and third-party panel integration

Verkada IO Controller licenses (LIC-AX) connect the AX11 multi-purpose IO controller to Verkada Command, enabling organizations to integrate industrial inputs, elevator access systems, motorized gates, and legacy equipment into a unified cloud interface. With sixteen supervised inputs and sixteen relay outputs per controller, the AX11 serves as the central bridge between Command's software logic and external physical hardware.

One LIC-AX license is required per physical AX11 unit. The license grants complete access to Command's input/output automation engine. For elevator control, the AX11 manages access permissions across sixteen floors per controller, allowing credential holders to unlock only authorized floors upon scanning a card reader. For auxiliary integration, inputs connect to third-party motion sensors, exit buttons, and fire alarm panels, while outputs trigger strobes, sirens, motorized gate arms, and roll-up warehouse doors based on automated schedules or alarm events.

IO controller licenses are available on one, three, five, and ten-year terms. Organizations expanding into multi-floor buildings or adding automated perimeter gates use Capacity Increase (CAP) licenses, which automatically co-terminate with the organization's existing access control renewal date. Renewal (RNW) licenses ensure uninterrupted control logic, cloud event history, and hardware warranty support. HTS reviews low-voltage elevator wiring plans and auxiliary equipment specs to quote the proper AX11 licensing.
