Outdoor talk-down audio, automated intrusion deterrents, and scheduled paging

Verkada Horn Speaker licenses (LIC-BZ) connect the BZ11 outdoor horn speaker to Verkada Command, transforming passive video surveillance into an active audio deterrence system. When monitoring perimeter fences, car dealerships, equipment storage yards, or school campuses, a horn speaker allows security operators and automated monitoring agents to intervene immediately and discourage intruders before criminal acts occur.

Each deployed BZ11 speaker requires one LIC-BZ cloud license. Within Command, the license enables three primary operating modes: live voice talk-down, automated event-driven deterrents, and scheduled audio broadcasts. Security operators viewing camera feeds can initiate crystal-clear two-way audio through the speaker with a single click. Furthermore, facility managers can create automated rules where camera-detected line-crossing or after-hours motion triggers custom pre-recorded warnings, high-decibel siren tones, or flashing LED strobe sequences.

Licenses are sold in one, three, five, and ten-year increments. For growing perimeter installations, Capacity Increase (CAP) licenses add new speakers to an existing Command organization and recalculate a unified renewal date. Renewal (RNW) licenses keep existing audio hardware fully supported with ongoing software features and manufacturer warranty coverage. HTS collaborates with security directors to map acoustic coverage, camera associations, and licensing terms for every site.
