The GC31 cellular gateway family connects Verkada hardware to the cloud where a wired internet line is unavailable, unreliable, or needs a redundant path. One outdoor SKU covers external mounting, while four indoor SKUs ship with regional power plugs for Australia, Europe, North America, and the United Kingdom.

The regional plug variants let a multi-site organisation standardise on the GC31 across offices in different countries without sourcing local power leads separately. The outdoor model is intended for yards, construction sites, gatehouses, and any location where the gateway itself must sit outside. Indoor and outdoor units share the same underlying connectivity role, so a site can mix them based on where the signal is strongest.

The family fits new-build sites awaiting internet provisioning, remote facilities such as pump stations and storage yards, and primary sites that need cellular failover alongside their existing broadband.
